The Kingdom of Bahrain is the smallest of the independent Persian Gulf states, and is located tucked into a pocket of the sea flanked by Saudi Arabia and Qatar. It lies within easy road access to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar, with the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia being less than 40 minute drive from our exhibition center.
Bahrain boasts of more than 65% of the world’s oil reserves. The major trading block in the region Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) consists of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Oman which form the vital markets in a region that is experiencing unparalleled growth. The fast escalating Oil revenues create vast budget surpluses which have been translated into thousands of development projects in the region. The Arabian MEP is a major event held in Bahrain to bridge the gap between buyers and suppliers for the major development projects taking place in Bahrain and the surrounding northern Arabian Gulf countries.
